ROXAS City – Capitol has partnered with two non-government foundations in improving services in state-run hospitals in Capiz.
The provincial government recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the Makati Medical Center Foundation (MMCF) and the Gerry Roxas Foundation (GRF).
Under the tripartite project, the parties will create a management plan designed to improve health services delivery.
Gov. Antonio del Rosario thanked the MMCF and the GRF for their help.
Aside from the governor, other signatories were the MMCF president Dr. Victor Gisbert and the GRF president Judy Araneta-Roxas.
Roxas believes the project will be a big help to Capisnons, especially the poor.
She also acknowledged another project partner, the United Capizeños Foundation, Inc.
Del Rosario reminded the health sector to be more welcoming and caring to the sick.
Chiefs of hospitals, health sector workers and local government officials witnessed the signing on Dec. 10 at the Hall of Governors of the provincial capitol. (Michelle Oropio, Capiz Aksyon News Center/PN)
