ROXAS, CAPIZ - The Social Security System (SSS) formally opened its newly-relocated branch office in Roxas City on June 28, 2017, serving about 2,450 employers and more than 33,500 members and pensioners in 578 barangays.

As the provincial capital of Capiz, I think it is our job to create bigger branches to accommodate the increasing number of SSS members and employers in Western Visayas,” SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel F. Dooc said.

The recently-upgraded branch office is now located at the ground floor of CityMall Roxas along Arnaldo Boulevard. Meanwhile, SSS has also established a service office (SO) in Robinson’s Place Roxas, which is also under SSS Roxas branch.

Among the full-range of services offered by SSS Roxas are issuance of social security (SS) number; receipt and processing of member and employer data change request; receipt and processing of benefit claims and salary loans; receipt and processing of E-R3 and E-ML2; receipt of web registration and resetting of account; and receipt and processing of Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP).

With an average of 983 transactions per day, SSS Roxas created additional facilities such as Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card capture, E-center, tellering facility, medical evaluation and bayad enter.

Results of our customer satisfaction surveys suggest that SSS has to further improve our facilities and services in Visayas branches. That’s why the current management does not only focus on the branch premises and facilities but also on the timeliness of service and better staff accommodation,” Dooc added.

The formal branch blessing and inauguration of SSS Roxas branch is part of the PCEO’s Regional Visit to Iloilo and Roxas from June 27 to 29, 2017. Other activities include branch visit and employees’ forum.

In a related news, SSS Roxas branch is under the Western Visayas Group 2 which also includes Antique, Iloilo Central, Iloilo-Molo, and Kalibo. As of first quarter of 2017, the Western Visayas Group 2 had total collection contributions of P388.83 million, which is higher by 27 percent from the P320.02 million total from the same period last year.

Representing Governor Tony del Rosario and provincial government of Capiz during the event were Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Ronnie T. Dadivas and Business and Sports Consultant Mrs. Carmen Andrade.
