The 2021 NBA playoffs continue with the Western and Eastern Conference finals. There are officially four teams left in contention to take it all in the NBA finals, with the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers facing off in the Western Conference Finals.
The Suns come into this series having beaten the Lakers in six games in the first round and sweeping the Nuggets in the second round. Devin Booker leads the team with 27.9 points per game in the postseason, and is also averaging 6.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists. DeAndre Ayton leads the team with 10.6 rebounds per game and Chris Paul leads the team with 8.7 assists per game. Paul recently tested positive for COVID-19 and will be reevaluated on Saturday, June 19.
The Clippers come into this series having beaten the Mavericks in seven games in the first round and the top-seeded Jazz in six games in the second round. Kawhi Leonard has led the team with 30.4 points per game in the postseason, but he suffered a knee injury in Game 4 of the Jazz series that is believed to be a torn ACL. Paul George is averaging 26.1 points per game and team highs with 9.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.
