F2 Logistics, previously the last Philippine Superliga holdout, is finally moving to the Premier Volleyball League.
The Cargo Movers released a statement on Thursday saying they will now play in the rival league organized by Sports Vision after five successful seasons in the PSL.
On Wednesday, a #LetsMoveNow clamor flooded Twitter as fans sought to convince F2, made up mostly of former standouts at La Salle and coached by Lady Spikers coach Ramil de Jesus, to make the move to the PVL.
On Thursday, F2 Logistics heeded the fans' call with a statement posted on Twitter and other social media platforms.
“It is also because of you that we announce that the Premier Volleyball League will be the arena that we will continuously hone our skills and characters,” F2 Logistics wrote in a statement.
F2 Logistics now becomes the fifth Superliga team to move to the rival league, joining PLDT, Cignal, Sta. Lucia and Chery Tiggo.
The transfer is also expected to rekindle the former La Salle stars' rivalry with alumni of Ateneo led by Alyssa Valdez, who make up the lineup of PVL dynasty Creamline.
We hear you 💛 Kaya F2, #LetsMoveNow #LetsGoF2LetsGo #LetsGoPilipinasLetsGo
