WATCH F2 Logistics beats Army for first PVL Reinforced win full game replay video

F2 Logistics finally rediscovered its winning touch and whipped United Auctioneers Army, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16, in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Lindsay Stalzer spearheaded the Cargo Movers’ assault with 24 points off 23 attacks as they snapped their two-game skid against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers and the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

We were really hungry for the win. We knew it’s gonna be tough, but we prepared specifically for the Army and I’m just proud that we pulled out the win,” said Stalzer, who also contributed 10 excellent receptions.

F2 Logistics directed the tempo for most parts of the match particularly in the third set, where Stalzer strung up five points to pull away from a slim 9-6 lead for a 14-6 advantage.

The Cargo Movers further intensified their offense and led by as many as 10, 20-10, before Army attempted to trim the deficit, 21-16, behind the efforts of Royse Tubino.

But it proved to be the Lady Troopers’ last stand as the Cargo Movers resumed their barrage of plays with Dzi Gervacio sealing the win with back-to-back kills.

Kim Dy added eight points for F2 Logistics while Kalei Mau also chipped in eight points before being sidelined with cramps midway the second set.

The Cargo Movers dominated the Lady Troopers in attacks, 51-25, particularly in the opening frame where they fired 19 kills.

They also put all the defensive stops on Army’s spikers and managed eight blocks including three from Ivy Lacsina.

Army plummeted deeper into the cellar with its third straight loss.
