Del Rosario wants people’s consensus on projects

ROXAS CITY, CAPIZ – Gov. Antonio Del Rosario said he wants to get the majority of the people’s consensus on upcoming projects that would benefit them.

Del Rosario explained June 29 that people should be well-informed on the projects they are about to benefit from and those projects should be in line with their priorities, not just that of himself or any other official.

Then, those projects will be prepared by the Provincial Planning and Development Office in the first 100 days of Del Rosario’s administration.

On the same day, the new Capiz local chief executive had a simple oath taking ceremony as the 21st governor of the province led by barangay captain Emily Ariza of Dayao, Roxas City.

The governor’s family; different barangay officials from Roxas City; members of the Liga ng mga Barangay Officials (LIBO); Imam Ustadj Harold Magadapa, the leader of the United Muslim Association of Roxas City; and local media personalities witnessed the ceremony in the office Del Rosario used during his time as Capiz 1st District Representative on the ground floor of the Provincial Capitol.

The governor also invited pupils of Child’s Academy to witness his oath taking ceremony to inform the public that his administration is working for a bright future for the youth.

He said that his office at the second floor of the Provincial Capitol is open for people who need help.

The Del Rosario administration will focus mostly on social services, health, education, and creation of sustainable livelihood and agri-tourism projects. (Ralph John Mijares and Michelle Oropio/Aksyon News Center)
