ROXAS CITY - Capiz governor Antonio A. del Rosario disclosed that his administration will focus on social services, health, education, sustainable livelihood, agri-tourism, and job generation.
Del Rosario said his social services program aims to help individuals and families in difficult circumstances, while his health program targets to improve and uplift services and facilities in government hospitals.
Scholarship programs will be provided to deserving students under his education flagship program, said the governor.
“We will also strengthen and hone the Provincial Sports Council’s role in the development of talents, as well as nurture and support our athletes,” he said.
Del Rosario said his administration will be defined by “transparency, integrity and hard work.”
“There will be no instant solutions to our problems, so it will require from all of us discipline, honesty, and the strong desire to serve and help our people dream of a better life,” he said in his inaugural address on June 30.
Del Rosario also urged Capisnons to work hard, make sacrifices and together make a difference in the lives of their fellows. (PIA/PN)
