Marce leaves 1 dead, hundreds displaced in Capiz

Tropical Storm "#MarcePH," which entered the Philippines on Thursday as a depression, is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday, November 27, 2016.

Typhoon Marce has left one dead and displaced more than 900 families in Capiz.

The provincial government said more than 100 barangays in 16 towns of Capiz were hit by floods due to heavy rains brought on by Marce.

It said that aside from houses, the national highway and schools were also hit by floods.

The provincial government said that as of Sunday, 92 barangays were still submerged in floods.

It said that the whole province experienced power outage at the height of Marce.
