Reigning Mutya sang Halaran 2017 Jaya Pearl Cartujano is representing Capiz in Miss Millennial Philippines 2017, Eat Bulaga’s newest tourism-based national beauty pageant.
The Province of Capiz is located in the Western Visayas region with its capital of Roxas City dubbed as the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines."

Cartujano is a native of Panitan town in Capiz. She was recently crowned Mutya sang Halaran (the province version of Binibining Pilipinas search) in April this year. She's a fresh graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Filamer Christian University.
Jaya (pronounced as Jai) has started featuring in her official Miss Millennial FB Page various places to visit in the province, people and food to eat. She has visited the Sta. Monica Church, home of the biggest church bell in Asia in Panay town, Liktinon Falls in Bayuyan, President Roxas and the white-sand Virgin beach in Basiao, Ivisan.
Cartujano's fave place in Capiz is the long-stretch Baybay Beach where she can eat seafood while watching the beautiful sunset.
Also, she has posted some local-produced food just like dried seafood and Panulce's biscocho.
Governor Tony del Rosario and the Provincial Government of Capiz is in full support for Ms. Jaya Pearl Cartujano's endeavor and journey at the Miss Millennial Philippines.
“Joining the said pageant is an opportunity to showcase the rich tourism industry of Capiz,” Cartujano said.
The Miss Millennial Philippines features over 30 provinces each with their own Ambassadresses to promote their respective province’s culture and tourism.
