The Magnolia Hotshots bounced back from their horrendous loss to the Meralco Boss as they clobbered the Blackwater Bossing, 94-78, in the PBA Philippine Cup on Friday at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.

The Hotshots then raised the lead to a high of 19, 85-66, and never let up until the final buzzer to pick up their fifth win in six matches.
Ian Sangalang and Mark Barroca had 16 points each for Magnolia, with the latter adding seven assists. Paul Lee added 15 markers while Calvin Abueva nabbed a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards. Jerrick Ahanmisi had 12 points, draining three triples in another solid game for the rookie wingman.
Kelly Nabong led the freefalling Bossing with 19 points and 14 rebounds as Blackwater remained winless in six games so far in this tournament.
