Governor Antonio “Tony” Del Rosario personally extended his congratulatory words to Jopay Pelayo, a young kid from a poor family who emerged as Second Runner-up in a nationwide contest.
Pelayo joined and ranked for this year’s Search for the Exemplary Pantawid Children of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Del Rosario rewarded her with a check worth P15,000 as her prize and to cover the expenses she incurred as she flew to San Juan in Metro Manila for the competition.
